Designed to meet EPA Tier 2 emissions regulations, the model later evolved in 2012 to comply with Tier 3 standards. Powered by EMDs 16 710 G3C T2 prime mover, the SD70ACe produces 4,300 horsepower, with later Tier 3 versions boosted to 4,500 horsepower. These
